Seis unidades del Pa.23 fueron entregados en el verano de 1972 al Ejercito del Aire, tomando la denominación de E.19. Sirvieron principalmente en la base de Getafe en misiones de entrenamiento y enlace,primero en el 912 Escuadrón y mas tarde en el 423 Escusdrón perteneciente al Grupo 42.
