El Mirage M5 eraun avión de ataque supersónico diseñado en 1960. Derivado del Mirage III fue un gran éxito de ventas y exportado a numerosos países como Israel, Chile, Bélgica, etc. En esta foto puede verse lo cerca de la pista que entonces nos dejaban estar a los fotógrafos de prensa dado que no todos disponíamos de teleobjetivos en nuestras cámaras.

Algunos Rafale "terrestres" también recibieron decoraciones especiales para el NTM 2017. Este "Charlie" (143 / 30-GW), que pertenece al ECE 03.030 "Lorraine", tuvo la gentileza de alabear al despegar para mostrarnos su elaborado acabado sobre las alas.

Poderoso despegue durante el Spotters Day de las maniobras DACT que se están celebrando estos días por parte de la OTAN en la Base Aérea de Gando. Ese día volaron F-18 de las Alas 12, 15 y 46 y Eurofighter de las Alas 11 y 14 del Ejército del Aire, Mirage 2000 del Armée de l’Air (Francia), Eurofighter, A-4 Skyhawk y Learjet de la Luftwaffe (Alemania), F-16 (Bélgica) y un E3-A AWACS del NAEW.
Gracias al Ejército del Aire y al resto de organizadores por brindarnos esta cita anual tan motivante.

El CAP 230 fue una evolución del CAP 21 desarrollado para la Armée de l'Air, sustituyendo su motor Lycoming de 200 hp por otro de 300 hp. Aquí vemos uno de los utilizados por el GI 312 del AdA para la formación de sus pilotos, que también solían acudir a concursar en campeonatos, como el celebrado en Ocaña hace 28 años. Este avión, en concreto (c/n 03), sería modificado a CAP 231 y se perdería en un accidente el 3 de junio de 1992 (KR64/Nikon Coolscan V)
