Este Bleriot XI no es una réplica, fue construido bajo licencia por Thulin en Suecia (cn EAA-1184-SE) en 1919. Recuperado pacialmente intacto, ha sido puesto en vuelo por Mikael Carlson al que hay que agradecer su demostración en Duxford con el viento reinante el día 12. Realmente impresionante. Nuevo en AC.

Spitfire FRXVIIIE de la Historic Flying Ltd. SM845, cn 65-672224. Parece que sus lineas hubieran sido diseñadas por el mismo Eolo para permitirle desplazarse sin esfuerzo.

Ni mas ni menos que el primer Gloster Meteor fabricado (aunque no el primero en volar). Formaba parte de los ocho prototipos que se construyeron entre 1942/43. Toda una joya...
Descansa en el Mueseo de la RAF (sede de Cosford) cerca de Birmingham.

Este motor está en exposición en el Museo Americano (de la colección IWM Duxford). El Twin Wasp con 14 cilindros en doble estrella desarrolla 1200 HP y es el motor más construido de la historia ya que entre 1932 y 1947 se construyeron 173.618 unidades.

El sábado 12 de julio, una pareja de Harrier de la Armada nos hizo un visita sorpresa para amenizar la "triste" exposición estática de helicópteros.
El de la foto nos obsequió con una estática muy, muy cercana y muy, muy ruidosa. (de lo mejorcito del festival)
