Las cargas de agua de los medios aéreos estaban repartidas en dos embalses,en el de Beleña,de mayor extensión,cargaban los nueve aviones anfibios del 43 Grupo,mientras que en este otro,el del Vado,cargaban los veintitrés helicópteros participantes.Los helicópteros participantes pertenecían al INFOCAM,a la Comunidad de Madrid y al MAGRAMA.En concreto,cargaban tres helicópteros de gran capacidad,este era uno de ellos.
