Para mejorar el King Air 100 Beech tuvo que emplearse a fondo: incrementó la envergadura, la capacidad de combustible y mejoró la presurización. Y evidentemente adoptó la ya clásica cola en T, tal como aparece en esta foto de N84MD (c/n BB-352), aterrizando en Barajas (KR64/Nikon Coolscan V)
