En primer término la clase open, dos ASW-17 (EC-DFG y EC-CKT, y Jantar open (EC-DOU) Al fondo a la izquierda Twin Astir (EC-DMQ) Durante varios de aquellos memorables años el organizador y auténtico "alma mater" de aquellos míticos campeonatos fué el amigo volovelista y ahora gran spotter Pere Escala, a quien quiero dedicar esta imagen en reconocimiento al esfuerzo dedicado en bien de la afición del vuelo a vela.
