Este helicóptero es adquirido por la Jefatura Central de Tráfico del Ministerio del Interior y lo da de alta en el Registro de Aeronaves el 16 de Octubre de 1964. Este helicóptero presta servicio con la D.G.T. Dirección General de Tráfico desde el 24 de Diciembre de 1973.
Posteriormente es almacenado en Cuatro Vientos desde 1989 hasta 1996 y desde Junio de 1996 es preservado en la Maestranza de Cuatro Vientos.
