La exhibición del F16 de la USAF del domingo en el RIAT 2019 tuvo que ser interrumpida al sentir el piloto fuertes vibraciones en el aparato. Durante la pasada de seguridad frente a la torre efectuada se observó que el estabilizador derecho se estaba desintegrando, por lo que el avión aterrizó inmediatamente de forma segura.
