A finales del siglo XX era habitual ver diferentes variantes de Learjet 35 y 36 de Flight International volando con variados dispositivos y armamento en sus pods, como si de cazas se tratara para cumplir sus contratos con clientes militares americanos. Este parece llevar algún sistema de reconocimiento en su ala de babor además de numerosas antenas a lo largo del fuselaje. Desde 2004 la empresa se llama L-3 Flight International. Entre los spotter locales mallorquines eran cariñosamente conocidos como "los misileros".
