El Payen PA 49 (F-WGVA; c/n 01, y bautizado "Katy") era un modelo a escala reducida de una proyecto de caza delta, el Pa 48 Mars, que no llegó a constuirse. Propulsado por un pequeño reactor Turboméca Palas de solo 150 kgs de empuje, fue exhibido en el Salón de Le Bourget de 1957.
