Uno de esos días memorables para los spotters mallorquines fue aquel 19 de mayo de 1999 en que el Real Mallorca disputó la final de la Recopa de Europa contra la Lazio en Birmingham. Para trasladar a los aficionados rojillos hubo gran cantidad de charters pero destacaron, sobre todos ellos, 2 747-300 y 1 747SP de Corsair.
