Junto al Museo de Speyer pero fuera de su perímetro (me imagino que porque ya no caben m´ñas aeronaves en su perímetro actual) podemos contemplar varios aviones, como este Transall cn D136 que operó en su día en el LTG61 y que fue donado al museo en abril de 2011

Luciendo el falso numeral "13", como todo el material ruso que acabó volando para Alemania Occidental procedía de la RDA, para cuyo ejército voló como 442. Tras la reunificación lució los distintivos 96+47 (arma aérea del Ejército)y 98+34 (Luftwaffe) Donado al Museo de Speyer circa 2003 msn 340337

Construction Number 80-7365 y s/n 51-17471. Lleva colores de la USAF y numerales "fake" '63659/TR-659' pero en realidad voló para la Luftwaffe desde 1951 con el registro 94-01.

Quizá ensombrecido por la estrella de Speyer, el Jumbo de LH, el AN-22 que hay en el Museo para mí personalmente merece más atención, pues sólo lo había visto una vez con anterioridad (el histórico 13.12.2002 en que en rampa de PMI hubo un AN-22 y un AN-225) Este en concreto es el msn 6340103, fue fabricado en 1965 siendo su primera matrícula CCCP-56391. Tras pasar por varios operadores regresó a manos de Antonov Design Bureau en el verano de 1992, que lo vendió al museo de Speyer en 1999 por $200,000, aterrizando en el minúsculo aeródromo adyacente de apenas 1300 mts el 29.12.1999, unas imágenes impresionantes que se pueden ver en youtube
