Lo de siempre en Madeira, el Domingo por la tarde. El A332 de TAP ya ha aterrizado, de su vuelo desde Lisboa y luego va a partir hacia Caracas, Venezuela. El Transavia aliniandose para la toma por la pista 05. En la parte detras se puede ver Canical, donde hay paineles solares y energia eolica. En la parte de bajo, a la izquierda, se ve la bandera de Madeira :)

My hint: plan in advance. First, try to guess the runway in use and the sun position at destination, with respect to that runway. Second, select your seat bearing in mind what you want to capture. Last, pray for a turbulence free landing. If all these factors gather, then there's a chance for you to capture such a framing :) Oh, btw, if you are superstitious do not book your flight for the 13th, as I did :) Less than 2 seconds away to touch-down, runway 33L, in Madrid. This one goes to my father, who worked for 27+ years for TAP Portugal. Thank you Father! :)

Unique view of Madeira airport. 2 Lockheed L-1011 Tristar 500 at Madeira due to new year celebrations. While CS-TMP speed up on runway 05 heading Lisbon, CS-TMR taxi to the stand inbound from Lisbon. Another company A320 CS-TQB taxi towards runway 05 for take-off. Captured almost 9 years ago using a Nikon E2000 point & shoot borrowed camera. Too bad the weather was really grey. Air Luxor filled in for bankruptcy in 2006.
