This plane has an interesting history. It's first registration was N527JB and titled "Midnight Blue", then in 2007 it went over to Blue Wings and was D-ANNE. Now its back with JetBlue and titled "Blue Bayou." Inbound from JFK.

NZ has become the newest in a growing line of carriers to replace the 747 service to LAX. A sad moment indeed as it means there is one less 747 gracing the skys of LAX. But it is hard to complain when the replacement is a 777-300 that looks so good especially in this spring evening light. Inbound from LHR.
