The weather in Manchester is never good......exactly why I am very lucky to have a house in Murcia !
There are a lot of routine flights into MAN.....but most days have something more exciting. There is only Heathrow in the UK, if you want more exotic airliners.....and a Ryanair / eayJet free zone !
Spotting is good at MAN but photography is difficult due to the light / spotting positions..

I have been watching the MAN arrivals all day today...and the only thing of note was a Saudi 777 early this morning. The flyovers are more interesting...with a lot of traffic into Holland, France, Switzerland, Germany and the Middle East over the Atlantic.
I'm off to Alicante on Thursday...Monarch Airbus from MAN....sadly no direct winter flights into MJV ! Alicante is again an easyJet & Ryanair stronghold with some unusual (for me) Russian flights. MJV is superb....low quantity...but great quality...and great photo opportunities ! Hasta luego John
