Una visita inesperada, un Gulfstream C-37 del gobierno estadounidense rodando a la pista 36 de Quito para partir con destino a Panamá Pacífico (MPPA) como "SAM315". Esta visita se debió a la firma de un tratado entre Ecuador y Estados Unidos y este avión junto a un Boeing C-40 (B737) fueron los encargados de traer a los funcionarios.
