El Avro 748 fue uno de los aviones construidos para reemplazar a los DC-3. Dotado de dos turbohélices el avión no alcanzó el éxito deseado y fue relegado a los entonces novedosos vuelos charter. Supongo que tanto el avión como la aerolínea son novedad en AC .
