Despues de estar abandonado en un rincón del madrileño aeropuerto de Barajas el C-47 (EC-ASP) apareció en la zona de la Muñoza, había sido comprado por la Fundació Parc Aeronàutic de Catalunya, donde tras pasar unos dias en el que se le desmontaron las alas, fué cargado en camiones para ser trasladado al aeropuerto de Sabadell.
