La visita del Ministro de Exteriores Ruso Serguei Lavrov a Madrid trajo consigo la llegada de este bonito Ilyushin Il-96-300 de Rossiya Airlines encargada del transporte de personalidades del Estado Ruso.
Con número de serie 74393202014, el aparato voló anteriormente para KrasAir con nombre “Mikhail Vodopyanov”.
Posteriormente para adaptarse a la nueva tarea fue transformado a VIP.
