Tras dejar TAP de operar el L1011 quedó una gran cantidad de gente (pilotos, mecánicos) cualificados en esta máquina lo que hizo que un par de charter nacidas al albor del nuevo siglo alquilasen L1011. Yes precisamente estaba participada por la aerolínea de bandera y mantuvo una pareja de Tristars durante algunos años hasta sustituirlos por aviones más "eficientes" (Sic)
