Éste fue el primer A320 entregado a Air France, el 28 de marzo de 1988. Se trata del SN 5, uno de los 21 A320-100 producidos. Aparte de la falta de winglets la serie 100 se caracterizaba por una capacidad de combustible inferior a la de sus sucesores de la serie 200.
