La compañía Birmingham Executive cambió su nombre a Birmingham European cuando empezó a operar con aviones "grandes", en vez de los Gulfstream I que había volado hasta entonces. Probablemente también aprovechó el "tirón" de las iniciales "BEA" que British Airways había dejado "libres" al fusionar British European con BOAC. Al menos la librea era bastante llamativa (KR64/Nikon Coolscan V)
