El 47690/843 fue uno de los dos DC-9 de la Fuerza Aérea Kuwaití: el otro (KAF320) fue destruido el 2 de septiembre de 1990 durante la invasión de Kuwait. A destacar el radomo y antenas de la cola, similares a los de los C-9 de la USAF y la US Navy.

Los cuatro F60 se entregaron al 334 escuadrón de la Koninklijke Luchtmacht basado en Eindhoven y dos de ellos (el U-01 y el U-03) fueron convertidos a la versíon MPA (Patrulla Marítima). En 2010 todos ellos fueron vendidos a la Aviación Naval de Perú.
